What are the common failures of wheel balancing machines?

The common faults of wheel balancing machine mainly include the following aspects:

First, the belt breaks

Description of the problem: The balancing machine is operated by the motor through the belt drive shaft to measure the balance of the tire. Belt as a key component of power transmission, once broken, the balancing machine will not work normally.

Solution: Replace the belt with a matching model and calibrate it after replacement to ensure accurate data.

Second, measurement error

Description of the problem: the eccentricity or bending of the motor rotor shaft, the dirt on the surface of the fixture, etc., may cause the measurement error to be too large, and the balance Angle cannot be accurately found.

The solution:

1. Check whether the motor rotor shaft is eccentric or bent, and adjust or replace it if necessary.

2. Clean the surface of the fixture to ensure that no dirt affects the balance of the wind blade when rotating.

Third, display error or fault codes

Description of the problem: The balancing machine display and the control module are integrated together. When the internal chip or electronic component fails, the display will display an error code (such as err1), indicating that the control module has a problem.

Solution: Replace the control module with a new one. Since the control module contains the display and buttons, the entire replacement may be required when it is replaced.

Fourth, dirt and lubrication problems at the support

Problem description: There is dirt not cleaned at the support, or no lubricating oil, and the foundation of the installation of the balancing machine does not meet the requirements (such as the bottom joint surface is not padded, the anchor bolt is not fastened), which may lead to the unstable operation of the balancing machine or failure.

The solution:

1. Clean up the dirt at the support and add appropriate lubricating oil.

2. Check and adjust the foundation to ensure that the joint surface at the bottom is cushioned and anchor bolts are secured.

Fifth, motherboard and line failure

Description of the problem: In addition to the belt is easy to break, the damage of the electronic components of the internal motherboard of the balancing machine may also lead to the operation of the machine. In addition, the mismatch of the line environment or the loosening and damage of the internal parts of the balancing machine will also affect its normal work.

The solution:

1. If the mainboard is damaged, replace the mainboard (including the screen and buttons).

2. Check whether the voltage, current and balancing machine match to ensure that the line environment meets the requirements.

3. Check and secure internal components to prevent them from loosening and causing faults.

Sixth, the speed is unstable

Problem description: The unstable speed of the balancing machine will lead to the instability of the measurement reference signal, and then produce a large error. This may be caused by the conveyor belt of the motor pulley being too loose, the belt slipping or the sensor being damaged.

The solution:

1. Check and tighten the conveyor belt of the motor pulley to ensure that it does not slip.

2. Check and replace or adjust the sensor position based on the balancing model to ensure accurate measurement of rotational speed.

In summary, the common failures of wheel balancer involve many aspects, including mechanical components (such as belts, rotor shafts), electronic components (such as control modules, motherboards), installation environment (such as foundation, lubrication) and speed stability. When troubleshooting these faults, you need to take appropriate measures according to the specific situation.
