Q: What power supply is required for YOKI scissor hoists?

A: The power units for most YOKI products come standard with a 3 phase electric motor, however a single phase motor is also available as an option but will usually require hard wiring with a large circuit as the current is a lot stronger to run the the 240 volt motor. 

Q: What type of hydraulic oil should be used for all hoists.
A: High Quality, 46 Weight, Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil such as Shell T46; Mobil DTE25; Castrol Hyspin AWH46; BP Bartran HV46; or equivalent. 46 Weight is good average specification for Australia, we suggest a thinner oil weight of 32 for colder climates and a thicker weight of 60 for hotter climates.

Q: What is the minimum concrete foundation required for the hoists?
A: Please refer to the installation manual but generally for most vehicle hoists a minimum of 150mm concrete floor depth is required.  Base frames are available as an optional extra should your concrete floor not be thick enough.

Q: Can I get spare parts for my hoists and how long will they take to get to me?

A: All hoist spare parts are available direct from our warehouse in Sydney. And will be shipped from the day when you place the order.
